I have an itinerary sheet issued by a Tour Operator for a BV - Blue Panorama Airlines flight, what terms and conditions apply?
For Charter flights generally apply the Terms and Conditions laid down by the Tour Operators organizing the tour. They may differ in whole or in part from those of Blue Panorama Airlines, unless otherwise specified. You can check with your tour operator travel organizer for more details.
How do I buy a ticket?
By using the Internet sites www.blu-express.com and www.blue-panorama.com paying with credit cards accepted (Visa, MasterCard or American Express) or bank wire transfer through UniCredit PagOnline.

There is a charge of 15 Euros per booking for scheduled flights marketed under "blu-express" low-cost brand or for domestic flights in Italy and international flights to Europe, Turkey and Russia. There is a charge of 25 Euros per booking for international scheduled flights to Africa, the Far East, the Caribbean and the Americas as well as in general for all intercontinental flights.

Up to what time before departure is it possible to buy a ticket?
By using the Internet sites www.blu-express.com and www.blue-panorama.com, travel agents and the Blue Panorama Airlines stores up to 2 hours and 30 minutes before departure.

By contacting the Call Center to number +39 06 98956666 or airport ticket counters up to 1 hour before the scheduled departure and anyhow a time compatible with the time needed for checking-in and boarding.
How do I change, cancel or request information concerning a booking?
For scheduled flights marketed under the "blu-express" low-cost brand or for domestic flights in Italy and international flights to Europe, Turkey and Russia changes concerning dates and time of the flight shall be allowed subject to their availability. You may contact the websites www.blu-express.com or www.blue-panorama.com up to 24 hours before departure or the Call Centre up to 2 hours 30 minutes before departure. You must make a payment of a 35 Euros fee per passenger plus the difference between the price originally paid and the lowest price available at the time the change is requested. In circumstances where the available rate is less than the price originally paid, there is no refund. The change of name has a fixed cost of 80 Euros and it is allowed through the websites www.blu-express.com or www.blue-panorama.com up to 24 hours before flight departure. The route modification (change of origin or destination of the trip) is only possible through the Call Center. Name changes are not permitted in the case of reservations including more routes if a route has already been taken (used) or expired; reservations including more flights must bear the same name for all routes.

For international scheduled flights to Africa, the Far East, the Caribbean and the Americas as well as in general for all intercontinental flights, the rules for any changes to the date, time and route of flight may vary depending on the fare available. Some promotional tariff levels may not allow changes and/or cancellations. For more information and an informed purchase you can always check with the Call Center tariff rules applicable to the fare you want to buy before you proceed with your booking. In any case, any request to change and/or cancellation may be made only up to 72 hours before departure of the flight. Name changes are not permitted under any circumstances.
Can I get a reimbursement for an unused booking?
For all rates fuel surcharge is not refundable. Government taxes are refundable. Requests for reimbursement of taxes must be submitted no later than 7 (seven) days from the date of the flight booked by sending an e-mail to the following address rimborsotasse@blu-express.com, as well as following the instructions provided therein about the documents to be sent for the requests to be admitted.
How do I receive confirmation of the reservation made online or through the Call Center?
In the case of bookings made through the websites www.blu-express.com or www.blue-panorama.com or through the Call Center confirmation of the booking with the "Reference Code" or "Booking Number" and flight details of the ticket purchased shall be transmitted to the passenger via e-mail. To make a booking it is necessary and mandatory for passengers to disclose a valid email address and a valid mobile number. All communications by the Company relating to the booking (confirmation, cancellation, operational variations) shall be sent only to the email address specified at the time of booking. In the case of purchase of the ticket at an agency, the agency will be responsible to ensure the delivery of the "Reference Code" or "Booking Number" and flight details to passengers.
Once the ticket is issued, can I request a receipt?
The booking confirmation is a valid fiscal document, being sufficient for all operations of fiscal nature of the passenger's. This applies to companies or to individuals.
What are the procedures once I arrive at the airport?
Passengers must arrive at the airport in time for the check-in operations, before the departure of the flight.

For scheduled flights marketed under the "blu-express" low-cost brand or for domestic flights in Italy and international flights to Europe, Turkey and the check-in desk opens anyway 2 hours before the scheduled departure and closes 35 minutes before departure for domestic flights and 45 minutes before departure for international scheduled flights. In addition, the passenger must be at the boarding gate (GATE) at least 25 minutes before the scheduled departure of the flight.

For international scheduled flights to Africa, the Far East, the Caribbean and the Americas as well as in general for all international flights, the check-in counter opens 3 hours before the scheduled departure and closes 90 minutes before departure. In addition, the passenger must be at the boarding gate (GATE) at least 45 minutes before the scheduled departure of the flight.

It is not possible to check-in for more than one flight at a time (through check-in).

No check-in shall be made at the boarding gate (GATE).

If the passenger arrives over the time limit above, the Company reserves the right to cancel the seat booked for the passenger and no refund shall be due in this case. It is recommended to check-in and arrive at the boarding gate (GATE) in advance.

The day of the scheduled departure, the passenger must be present at check-in with a valid identity document and any other documents required by the legislation of the countries of destination in order to enter into their territory. It is the passenger's responsibility to make sure to have a valid identity document and any further requirements or documents required by customs and immigration. Penalties, fines, costs or expenses arising from the absence of such requirements or valid documents shall be borne by passengers. Passengers are requested to contact the immigration authorities of the country of destination for any questions before booking the ticket. Should the documents shown by the passenger not be valid, or if the passenger's name on the reservation does not match the one on the passport, the company shall refuse boarding and such passenger shall not be entitled to any refund.
I missed the outbound flight, can I make the return flight?
For scheduled flights marketed under the "blu-express" low-cost brand or for domestic flights in Italy and Europe, Turkey and Russia, the purchase of airline tickets takes place in each case with one-way fares, so even though if the outbound flight is missed, passengers shall be able to board on the flight back home.

For international scheduled flights to Africa, the Far East, the Caribbean and the Americas, as well as in general for all intercontinental flights, in case of purchase of airline tickets for a round-trip if boarding shall be denied to a passenger on the outbound for reasons beyond the carrier, the outcome shall be an automatic cancellation of the booking for the return flight, for which a refund may be required according to the rules of the fare purchased (IATA Resolution 723).
What fees and conditions apply to minors and children?
"Infant" means passengers who, at the flight date, have not become 2 years old. Infants can travel sitting on the lap of an adult and only in Economy Class.

The Company shall accept only one Infant passenger on board accompanied by one passenger who is at least eighteen years old.

The term "children" refers to passengers who, at the flight date are between 2 and those who must turn 12 years old. The tariff level offers them reductions according to the rules laid down by the fare purchased. Children can travel only if accompanied by an adult.

Children aged between 6 and 14 years old may travel unaccompanied by means of the procedure UMNR (unaccompanied minors) at a maximum of two per flight.

For domestic flights in Italy passengers under age (including Child and Infant) are accepted only if they carry an identity card or a certificate of identity, an individual passport or an equivalent document.

For international flights, passengers under age (including Child and Infant) are accepted only if they carry an individual passport or an equivalent document valid for expatriation and recognized by the country of destination.

For passengers under age (including Child and Infant) traveling with their parents, especially when they are holders of passports issued before 2009, if such documents do not show explicitly their relationship, they must submit at check-in a family certificate, which can be requested from the local institutional bodies.

Passengers under the age limit (including Child and Infant) traveling with an adult other than a parent must submit an authorization, in addition to the above documents, duly signed by their parents. Such an authorization shall be legalized by the police or by the competent institutional bodies.
Soon I shall be Mom, how should I behave?
Pregnant women are required to inform the Company of their condition at the time of booking. For reasons of safety and to avoid damage to health, the Company shall refer to the following for the transport of pregnant women:
  • Up to 28 weeks - pregnant women are accepted on board without a medical certificate. The Company may request a document certifying that the pregnant woman has not passed the twenty-eighth week of pregnancy;
  • Between 29 and 36 weeks – it is required to submit a medical certificate attesting fitness to fly and good health of pregnant women, which includes the child's expected date of birth;
  • Over 37 weeks pregnant women shall not be allowed on board under any circumstances.
I have special needs, who do I ask?
For passengers requiring special assistance it is necessary to make a request for assistance within 72 hours of departure only to the Carrier's Call Center at +39 06 98956666. For any kind of assistance or for the transport procedures of infants, pregnant women, handicapped or disable passengers, you must contact the Call Center at the time of booking. We also reiterate that for any assistance, the INCAD form must be presented prior to acceptance, duly completed by the attending physician of the passenger (click here to download the form). For safety reasons the Carrier may accept only a limited number of wheelchairs per flight to ensure punctuality and safety. The Carrier reserves the right to change policies and procedures without notice. Finally, we note that transportation of passengers with disabilities, limited mobility and visually impaired passengers with a guide dog is governed by EEC Regulation 1107/2006 Law 60 of 8 February 2006 in force since March 18, 2006 amendment to the Law No. 37 of 14 February 1974. Such legislation provides that the burden of the service support is the responsibility of the airport operator's. It states that the carrier's task is only to provide with information.

The transport of PRM passengers - blind passengers accompanied by a guide dog is governed by the EEC Regulation 1107/2006 Law 60 of 8 February 2006 in force since March 18, 2006 amendment to the Law No. 37 of February 14, 1974. Blind passengers accompanied by a guide dog are accepted on board our flights, depending on the availability of space, provided dogs have a muzzle and leash, medical records and/or health passport. It is the passenger's duty to ensure that documents are updated and show them at check-in.
What conditions apply to the carriage of baggage in the cabin?
On all flights of the Company each passenger may carry only one hand luggage with size not exceeding 55x40x20 cm including handle and wheels, meeting the following conditions:
  • Not more than 10 kgs for domestic flights in Italy and international flights to Europe and Albania;
  • Not more than 10 kgs flights to the Caribbean.
The Carrier reserves the right to check the actual size of the luggage at the airport with a special meter ("sizer") in order to determine eligibility for transportation in the cabin or the compulsory carriage in the hold as checked baggage.

It is allowed in addition to unchecked baggage for all flights of the Company free transportation of the following items: a handbag, a folder, a laptop, a coat or blanket, an umbrella, a walking stick, a camera or binoculars, reading material for the flight, baby food, a fully collapsible wheelchair, crutches or other prostheses provided the passenger is dependent on them.

In your hand luggage liquids are allowed in small quantities. These liquids must be in individual containers with a maximum capacity of 100 milliliters (1/10 of a liter) or equivalent (e.g. 100 grams). These containers must be packed in a transparent re-sealable plastic bag of a capacity not exceeding 1 liter (i.e. with dimensions of approximately 18 cm x 20). Passengers must be able to close such bags with their contents (i.e. containers must fit comfortably inside the bags). Each passenger (including Infant) shall be allowed to carry one and only one plastic bag of the dimensions mentioned above.

On each unchecked baggage labels must be placed by the passenger with their name on them. Baggage carried by passengers without a label shall not be accepted on board by the Company. Identification labels for luggage are available at the airports at check-in of the Company.
What conditions apply to the transportation of checked baggage?
For domestic flights in Italy and international flights to Europe and Albania the transport of checked baggage is subject to payment according to the following scheme:

In the circumstance of a booking with flights round trip, the addition of hold baggage for just one flight must necessarily be made by contacting the Contact Center or at the airport ticket office on the day of the scheduled departure.

From the third bag will be entirely calculated as excess luggage at a cost of 10 Euros per Kg.

1. Cuban nationality passengers travelling between Cuba and Italy are entitled to a maximum weight of 32 KG per package instead of 23 KG in all classes of service.

Transportation of pushchairs, prams and travel cradles are free of charge.
They may be brought up to the ramp and/or the door of the plane where they shall be taken into custody by the airport staff and duly stowed.
Their return takes place alongside, after landing, whenever possible, otherwise directly at the luggage tape. However, they can be delivered at the check-in desk with the rest of the luggage, if you wish.

The allowance for checked baggage must be intended per passenger, that is personal.
It cannot be combined and/or shared with that of other passengers or may not be combined and/or shared at check-in with that of other passengers on the same flight.

Payment of the amount due to the increase in the luggage weight not made through our website may be done at the airport ticket.
Payment of the luggage weight is not refundable if the passenger voluntarily cancels the trip.

In case the purchased flight is part of an "Inclusive Tour" package programmed by a Tour Operator and purchased directly from a tour operator or a travel agency regulations must be complied with the terms and conditions provided by the Tour Operator for the transportation of checked baggage.
Can I carry musical instruments?
It is possible to transport musical instruments such as cello, harp or others in the cabin by booking and paying an extra seat at the applicable rate, provided they meet the measures allowed by the Company. In this case the instrument is transported inside a rigid, non-deformable case, which does not exceed the following dimensions: 52 cm. wide x 40 cm. deep x 135 cm high. Their mounted foot on the bottom must also be within these dimensions, if it is not removable. Double basses are not allowed in the cabin. For more information and to pay for the extra seat you can contact the Call Center. On board, the instrument shall be placed in the seats immediately in front of a bulkhead or, if this is not possible, on those close to the window. Their check-in time must be at least 60 minutes before the deadline.

On flights of the Company any instrument that exceeds the length of 100 cm must be carried as checked baggage. Any instrument that exceeds this size is not accepted. Check-in and shipment of musical instruments is always outside the normal baggage allowance. The fee charged is equal to:
  • 30 Euros per piece per flight on scheduled flights marketed under the "blu-express" low-cost brand, that is for domestic flights in Italy and international flights to Europe, Turkey and Russia;
  • 18 Euros per Kg per flight on scheduled international flights to Africa, East, the Caribbean and the Americas, as well as in general for all intercontinental flights.

Passengers must be at the check-in desk at least 60 minutes before the deadline.
Can I travel with my dog or my pet?
Pets can be carried in the cabin on all flights of the Company under the following conditions:
- Maximum one pet per passenger;
- Maximum two pets per flight;
- Dogs, cats and ferrets are accepted, provided their maximum weight is not over 10 kg, including container.

Transport of pets in the cabin is allowed, provided the payment of a fee according to the following scheme is made:
- 10 Euros per Kg per flight on scheduled international flights marketed under the "blu-express" low-cost brand, that is for domestic flights in Italy and international flights to Europe, Turkey and Russia;
- 18 Euros per Kg per flight on scheduled flights to Africa, East, the Caribbean and the Americas, as well as in general for all intercontinental flights.

The amount paid for the transportation of a pet in the cabin is not refundable. The transport of pets is regulated by Regulation (EC) No. 998/03 with the certification provided by Decision 2004/203/EC (amended by Decision 2004/301/EC).

In the cabin their transport is subject to specific conditions:
- Pets must remain for the entire trip in a kennel that does not exceed the following dimensions: 46 cm long 31 cm wide 25 cm;
- The kennel must allow pets to be comfortable, to be able to turn and lie down. It must be well ventilated, waterproof and solid;
- The container can carry up to 5 animals of the same species, provided that the total weight (including food and the carrier itself) does not exceed 8Kg.

In the event that the above conditions are not met or if the animal disturbs other passengers, the captain of the flight can transfer it in the hold.
The Company reserves the right to refuse the carriage of animals if the above criteria are not followed.

Pets under the age of 3 months, who have not yet received the rabies vaccine cannot travel in Europe.
In some countries there are prohibitions or restrictions on the introduction of some animal species, therefore we invite passengers to check for any restrictions or prohibitions before departure at the country of destination.

To prevent the spread of avian influenza, the European Union and the Ministry of Health have forbidden the acceptance of pet birds originating in Asian countries, Turkey, Russia, South Africa, Romania and all the states of the Balkan Peninsula.

The Company reserves the right to refuse the carriage of pets if the above criteria are not followed.
The Company will not accept transportation of pets in the hold on any of its flights.
Can I take with me my sports equipment?
Transport of technical and professional and non professional sports equipment, golf equipment, diving, cycling, windsurfing boards, snowboarding, and snow or water-skiing is subject to a surcharge according to the following scheme:
  • 10 Euros per Kg per flight for each equipment of any type on scheduled flights marketed under the "blu-express" low-cost brand or for domestic flights in Italy and international calls to Europe, Turkey and Russia;
  • 60 Euros per flight for each golf equipment on scheduled international flights to Africa, the Far East, the Caribbean and the Americas as well as in general for all intercontinental flights;
  • 100 Euros per flight for any bike on scheduled f international lights to Africa, the Far East, the Caribbean and the Americas as well as in general for all intercontinental flights;
  • 100 Euros per flight for each windsurf surf and snowboard equipment on scheduled international flights to Africa, East, the Caribbean and the Americas as well as in general for all intercontinental flights;
  • 150 Euros per flight for each windsurf on scheduled international flights to Africa, the Far East, the Caribbean and the Americas as well as in general for all intercontinental flights;
  • 18 Euros per Kg per flight for each equipment of any type not mentioned specifically on the above scheme on schedule international flights to Africa, the Far East, the Caribbean and the Americas as well as in general for all intercontinental flights.

For bookings please contact the Call Center as the carriage may be subject to limitations of space in the hold for specific flights. If at the time of boarding, the equipment has not been pre-booked, it shall be collected only after acceptance of the same terms and subject to availability of space in the hold. Bikes must be packed properly with handlebars turned toward the body of the bicycle itself, securely locked, pedals removed and wheels off and deflated. At the airport, the passenger must also fill in the form for the discharge of liability for possible damage during transport. What should I do in case of damage/loss of luggage?
In the event of loss or damage to baggage the EC Regulation 889/2002 and the Montreal Convention is applied.

In order to provide for reimbursement for the damage Blue Panorama Airlines requires passengers to send by mail the original copies of the following documents:

- Complaint for damaged/lost baggage released at the airport;
- Airplane ticket;
- Baggage tag;
- Certification by a travel bag retailer of the damage sustained in case of damage to baggage;
- Any evidence supporting the expenditure incurred for the basic necessities in the event of non-delivery of baggage.

The period within which to file a complaint, under penalty of forfeiture, is:
- 7 days from date of opening of the PIR in the case of damage to baggage
- 21 days from the date your baggage was returned in the case of delayed baggage

The PIR (Property Irregularity Report) does not constitute written notification to the Carrier.

What happens if I lose my confirmation number?

Can children travel alone?
Children between 6 and 14 years old may travel unaccompanied as stated by the UMNR (unaccompanied minors) procedure at a maximum of two per flight. UMNR Passengers shall be accepted on board the aircraft of the Company upon payment of the ticket plus an extra fee of:
  • 50 Euros per flight for every unaccompanied minor for scheduled flights marketed under the "blu-express" low-cost brand or for domestic flights in Italy and international flights to Europe, Turkey and Russia.
  • 150 Euros per flight for every unaccompanied minor for scheduled international flights to Africa, the Far East, the Caribbean and the Americas as well as in general for all intercontinental flights.

UMNR bookings can only be carried out by contacting the Call Center at +39 06 98956666 at least 72 hours prior to flight departure. Identification and contacts of companion in charge of custody shall be requested at the departure and arrival airports. The attendant at the departure shall wait in the airport until 30 minutes after the actual departure of the flight. The companion must ensure that the child is at the airport with the documents required for identification. In case the documents handed in by the passenger are not valid, the Company shall deny boarding and consequent loss of the amount paid for the purchase of the ticket.
Are there meals on board?
For our flights marketed under the "blu-express" low-cost brand or for domestic flights in Italy and international flights to Europe, Turkey and Russia, passengers can buy in-flight snacks and hot or cold drinks depending on the menu. Their prices are shown on the Magazine board, placed in the seat pocket in front of the passenger's seat.

For scheduled international flights to Africa, the Far East, the Caribbean and the Americas as well as in general for all international flights, a service on board is given in Economy Class which includes free distribution of hot meals and breakfast during flight as well as hot and cold drinks. Meals served in some cases may provide a choice between two types of dishes (e.g. first or main course). Adult passengers traveling with Infants shall receive BBML (baby meal) special meals that include 3 jars (meat/fruit/vegetables). Hot water shall be available on board for the eventual preparation of freeze-dried foods.

For scheduled international carrier flights to Africa, the Far East, the Caribbean and the Americas as well as in general for all international flights, a service on board is given in Blue Class (Business Class), which includes a wide selection of hot and cold meals "à la carte" served in a refined way over fabric tablecloths and china, for lunch, dinner and breakfast. In addition to all soft drinks, also wine is served from the cellar board, as well as spirits.

For scheduled international carrier flights to Africa, the Far East, the Caribbean and the Americas as well as in general for all international flights, you can also request a booking exclusively through the Call Center for special meals in Economy Class in Blue Class (Class business) such as:
  • VGML (western vegetarian meal) that is Western style vegetarian meals (not vegan);
  • GFML (gluten free meal) that is meals made of gluten-free food.
Can I choose my seat on board?
For our flights marketed under the "blu-express" low-cost brand or for domestic flights in Italy and international flights to Europe, Turkey and Russia allocations of seats on board is not provided and the "free seating" principle applies, that is a free seating choice.

Why can I not find flights over 6 months from the current date?

In what departures is concerned, from which airports can I make web check-in?
The web check-in service allows you to check-in for your flight directly from your home or office between 10 days and 2 hours prior to departure.

The web check-in is available for domestic flight within Italy and international flights to Greece.

This service is available for adult passengers traveling with hand luggage only on the size and weight allowed (1 luggage max 10 kgs and dimensions not exceeding 55x40x20 cm including handle and wheels).

On the day of departure passengers should make sure to arrive at the boarding gate (GATE) not less than 25 minutes before departure, with a valid identity document. For information on the boarding gate (GATE) check the airport monitors.

Passengers travelling with checked baggage can still perform the web check-in but they are requested to proceed to the check-in counters to register their luggage according to the normal show-up times for the check-in at the airport.

The web check-in CAN NOT be requested by minor passengers, by those traveling with children under the age of 2 years old, by passengers with reduced mobility, blind and/or passengers who require special assistance at the airport or, finally, by passengers traveling in the company of pets.

The Company will not apply any surcharge for web check-in.

However you need to check through the websites of the Company at least 72 hours before the flight departure times, as well as the arrival hours.
